Welcome! Thank you for being here ♥

I chose to pursue the microblading industry as another creative outlet. I’m also a trained pastry chef and cake artist with my own home baking business that I’ve been running since 2019 (Bakes by Kenz). Meanwhile I get to create art for people that way, I wanted to learn how to create art to help people. Help people feel confident, beautiful and their best. Meet people, connect with people. I’ve loved beauty, skincare and makeup for as long as I can remember. I love feeling and looking my best and if I can help others to do that too, I don’t think there’s a better feeling than that.

On top of it being another creative outlet, it’s also a very flexible career for me, as I get to set my schedule, be my own boss (the entrepreneur in me needs this!) and it perfectly molds around my baking which I still do on weekends and love!

I first got my eyebrows microbladed in 2021. My reason to get microblading was for ease of a makeup routine. I do wear makeup frequently and meanwhile I do choose to fill in my eyebrows on top of my microblading tattoo with a full face of makeup, I find it gives me a guide on where to fill them in so they look their best every single day. The days where I don’t wear makeup I feel so put together because my brows perfectly frame my face and I don’t even have to do anything but put my skincare on and go! Who doesn’t love convenience?

I am a firm believer in learning from who’s work inspires you the most. I got my microblading done by Tanya of Wake Up Without Makeup and she’s also who I learned from! She produces the most natural looking results and I knew that’s the style I wanted to achieve in my work as well. I took her microblading certification course in July of 2023 and it was the best decision I ever made.

Whatever your reason for microblading, I want to help you get results you love and help you to feel your best!

The Peony

The peony in Arch Rivals’ logo represents a few things.

Firstly, it represents the favourite flower of someone I’ve lost to cancer. She had peonies on her tattoo sleeve and I always think of her when I see them. I have one tattooed on my arm as well for her. Which makes it all the more special that I’m using one in my logo.

Since starting this venture is all about bringing out the natural beauty in people, the peony just speaks to me in so many ways. It symbolizes beauty, elegance, and prosperity - all the things I hope to achieve for my clients.

I want each person who comes to me for microblading to experience a transformation, to feel more confident and radiant. And the peony perfectly embodies that transformative power.

The peony also represents the rewarding outcomes my clients can expect. I'm really passionate about creativity and skill, and I want to showcase my dedication to the craft through the peony in my logo.

It's not just a flower; it's a promise of the amazing results and fulfillment my clients will receive.

I'm just getting started, but I truly believe the peony will be a symbol of the positive experiences my clients will have, and the successful results they'll achieve through microblading.
